• Waste water treatment: Design conventional activated sludge and membrane bioreactor (MBR) systems for treatment of residential and industrial wastewater for compliance with variable effluent discharge requirements. Develop treatment systems for water reuse. Integrate advanced oxidation technologies for cost efficient treatment of industrial wastewater streams and landfill leach-ate. 

• Drinking water treatment: Design conventional and reverse osmosis (RO) systems for treatment of potable water from surface or groundwater sources with variable water quality. Integrate advanced oxidation technologies for cost efficient treatment of emergent pollutants, toxins from algae contamination. Integrate renewable technologies with conventional treatment systems.

• Waste Management of Industrial/Medical Facilities: Develop cost efficient scenarios optimized for minimized waste disposal and for the greatest ratio of recycled to disposed waste. Provide waste characterization, classification and development of design alternatives to determine the solution with highest environmental performance and lowest costs for recycling, incineration, landfill disposal or chemical destruction.
